Job summary

Leighton Asia in Indonesia seeks a senior site coordinator with extensive civil construction experience to supervise assigned activities, ensure targets are met and uphold safety standards.

You will coordinate subordinates, optimize on-site efficiency, ensure adequate technical resources, and report progress on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in line with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil engineering or related disciplines.
• Deep knowledge of building and civil construction safety requirements.
• Experience monitoring direct staff and subcontractors on construction sites.
• Experience managing operational/technical roles in construction.
• Experience with civil contractors preferred.
• 7+ years of civil/construction experience.
• Willingness to be placed on project site and follow company rules.

Job Duties

• To coordinate a specific construction activity to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved
• To coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in construction.
• To coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.
• To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform construction activities.
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
• To develop reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in civil engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of building and civil construction & safety legal requirements
• Have extensive experience in building construction works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.
• Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.
• 7++ years experience in civil/construction
• Willing to be placed on project site and follow company rules
