Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export operations, customs clearance, or international trade.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and international trade compliance requirements.
• Experience with customs documentation systems and import/export management software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all import and export activities, including customs clearance procedures and documentation
• Manage customs declarations, tariff classifications, and regulatory compliance to ensure adherence to international trade laws
• Liaise with customs authorities, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth cargo movement
• Review and verify import/export documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and packing lists
• Ensure timely processing of shipments and monitor the status of goods in transit
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inventory and storage of imported goods
• Prepare reports on import/export activities, customs duties, and trade compliance metrics
• Train and supervise junior staff involved in exim operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Identify and resolve issues related to customs clearance, shipment delays, or documentation discrepancies
• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, trade policies, and international trade requirements

About the role

PT Arisamandiri Pratama is seeking an experienced Supervisor Exim to join our dynamic team in Demak, Jawa Tengah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing our import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and maintaining efficient logistics processes. As Supervisor Exim, you will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, managing documentation, and ensuring that all customs and trade procedures are executed flawlessly. This role is integral to our company's success in international trade and directly impacts our operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export operations, customs clearance, or international trade
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and international trade compliance requirements
• Experience with customs documentation systems and import/export management software
• Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain management processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
