Job summary

Leighton Asia in Indonesia is seeking a Senior MEP Construction Coordinator to lead coordination of MEP works and develop the team for optimized installation progress.

The role requires extensive civil/construction experience, strong knowledge of MEP safety standards, and proven ability to manage direct staff and subcontractors. A Diploma in civil/structural engineering is required, with a focus on safe, efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil/structural engineering or related disciplines.
• Extensive knowledge of MEP installation processes and safety regulations.
• 7+ years of civil/construction experience with MEP exposure.
• Experience coordinating staff and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP works (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) to meet targets.
• Coordinate and develop assigned subordinates to optimize installation time.
• Lead continuous improvement to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure sufficient competent technical resources for MEP activities.
• Enforce safe and environmentally friendly procedures per HSE requirements.
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Share knowledge to enhance professional development.

Job description

Key Accountabilities:

1. To coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved
2. To coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in MEP installation.
3. To coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.
4. To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform MEP installation activities.
5. To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
6. To develop reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
7. To perform knowledge sharing in order to enhance the professional development within the organization

Requirements:

• Diploma in civil /structural engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of mechanical/electrical/plumbing installation & safety legal requirements
• 7++ years experience in civil/construction
• Have extensive experience in MEP installation works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.
• Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.
