Job summary

Cimic Group in Indonesia is seeking aSenior MEP Coordinator to lead the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on site. You will ensure targets are met while developing subordinates and optimizing MEP installation timelines.

You will enforce safety and regulatory compliance, monitor resources, and drive continuous improvement. The role includes preparing routine reports and sharing knowledge to support professional growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil/structural engineering or related disciplines.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical/electrical/plumbing installation and safety requirements.
• Experience managing operational and technical roles in construction.
• Experience in civil contracting preferred and 7+ years in civil/construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to achieve targets.
• Coordinate and develop subordinates to optimize workable time in MEP installation.
• Coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities for optimum efficiencies.
• Ensure competent technical resources are available for MEP installation.
• Enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures to comply with HSE requirements.
• Develop reports to present daily, weekly and monthly updates.
• Share knowledge to enhance professional development within the organization.

Key Accountabilities

• To coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved
• To coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in MEP installation.
• To coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.
• To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform MEP installation activities.
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.
• To develop reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• To perform knowledge sharing in order to enhance the professional development within the organization

Requirements

• Diploma in civil /structural engineering or related disciplines
• Deep knowledge upon practical application of mechanical/electrical/plumbing installation & safety legal requirements
• Have extensive experience in MEP installation works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors
• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.
• Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.
