Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to oversee mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on ongoing projects in Indonesia. The role focuses on coordinating disciplines, optimizing installation schedules and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across teams and subcontractors.

You will lead and develop assigned personnel, monitor progress, generate daily to monthly reports and drive continuous improvement to achieve targets and high-quality outcomes on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil/structural engineering or related disciplines.
• Deep knowledge of practical MEP installation and safety laws and regulations.
• Extensive experience in MEP installation with capability to supervise direct staff and subcontractors.
• Experience managing operational and technical roles in the construction industry.
• Civil contractor experience is preferred.
• 7+ years experience in civil/construction.

Key Accountabilities:

1. To coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to which he has been assigned in order to ensure that targets are achieved


2. To coordinate and develop the assigned subordinates in order to optimize workable time in MEP installation.


3. To coordinate continuous improvement and optimization activities in order to ensure optimum efficiencies in ongoing basis.


4. To ensure sufficient competent technical resources are available in order to effectively perform MEP installation activities.


5. To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.


6. To develop reports in order to ensure the accurate presentation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.


7. To perform knowledge sharing in order to enhance the professional development within the organization

Requirements:

• Diploma in civil /structural engineering or related disciplines


• Deep knowledge upon practical application of mechanical/electrical/plumbing installation & safety legal requirements


• Have extensive experience in MEP installation works with a capability in monitoring direct staff and subcontractors


• Experience in managing operational and technical role in the construction industry.


• Experience working at civil contractor is preferred.
