Job summary

SRG is seeking an MEP Engineer to oversee the execution of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing work in Bali, Indonesia. You will coordinate with civil, structural, architectural teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2–3 years of contractor experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to read drawings and manage field issues effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years MEP engineer experience in contractor/construction.
• Ability to read technical drawings, shop drawings, and specs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and field supervision.
• Willing to be placed at project locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEP work execution per drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, as-builts, and approvals.
• Coordinate MEP with civil/structural/architectural teams, subcontractors, vendors.
• Ensure QA/QC and execution methods meet standards.
• Monitor progress, material, labour, and equipment needs.
• Identify field issues and provide effective solutions; conduct inspections.
• Prepare progress reports and work documentation.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of MEP installations.
• Ensure on-time completion within budget and quality targets.

MEP Engineer responsible for overseeing and ensuring the execution of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) work in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and project schedules. The role involves coordinating MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural teams, subcontractors, and vendors, while maintaining quality standards and resolving technical issues in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure MEP work execution complies with technical drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Review, examine, and coordinate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and material approvals
• Coordinate MEP work with civil, structural, architectural teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Ensure quality and execution methods of MEP work meet established standards
• Monitor work progress, material requirements, labour, and equipment needs
• Identify technical issues in the field and provide effective solutionsConduct inspections to ensure MEP work meets quality, safety, and project specifications
• Prepare progress reports and work documentation regularly
• Oversee testing and commissioning processes for MEP installations
• Ensure work is completed on schedule, to quality standards, and within budget

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years experience as MEP Engineer, particularly in contractor/construction companies
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Understanding of MEP work execution and supervision in the field
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prepare work reports and monitor project progress
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to be placed at project locations as required by the company
