Job summary

PT Masmindo Dwi Area is seeking Supervisors to join the Tailing Storage Facility construction team on a project-based contract in South Sulawesi. You will supervise daily civil works at the TSF, coordinate crews, and ensure progress aligns with the schedule.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and at least 3 years as a Supervisor in construction or mining, with strong field reporting and safety discipline on an active site. Base site: South Sulawesi, roster-based arrangement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years as a Supervisor in construction, civil works or mining.
• Solid grasp of drawings, method statements, levels and quantity tracking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil works at the TSF: earthworks, embankment fill placement, moisture conditioning, and compaction.
• Direct Foremen, crew, and equipment at the work front and keep the work plan on schedule.
• Prepare the subgrade and bedding works ahead of liner installation and protect completed surfaces.
• Oversee reinforcement and formwork for concrete structures within the TSF scope.
• Monitor quantity, productivity, and progress against schedule and raise shortfalls early.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Control, QA/QC, HSE, and contractors on site.
• Identify field constraints and follow through to resolution.
• Prepare daily progress and site reports.

PT Masmindo Dwi Area is building the Awak Mas Gold Project, an open-pit gold mine moving through construction toward first gold. We are looking for Supervisors to join the Tailing Storage Facility construction team on a project based assignment.

This is civil works supervision at the front line: embankment fill, subgrade preparation for liner, concrete structures, and the daily job of keeping crew, equipment, and progress moving against the schedule.

What you will do

• Supervise daily civil works at the TSF: earthworks, embankment fill placement, moisture conditioning, and compaction, in line with drawings and method statements.
• Direct Foremen, crew, and equipment at the work front, and keep the work plan running shift by shift.
• Prepare the subgrade and bedding works ahead of geosynthetic liner installation, and protect completed surfaces from damage.
• Oversee reinforcement and formwork for concrete structures within the TSF scope.
• Monitor quantity, productivity, and progress against schedule, and raise shortfalls early.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Control, QA and QC, HSE, and contractors on the work front.
• Identify field constraints and follow them through to resolution.
• Prepare daily progress and site reports.

What you will bring

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum 3 years as a Supervisor in construction, civil works, earthworks, or mining infrastructure.
• Solid grasp of construction drawings, method statements, levels and setting out, and quantity tracking.
• Working knowledge of earthworks compaction control, including moisture conditioning and density testing.
• Ability to lead crew and Foremen, and to hold contractors to plan and quality.
• Strong safety discipline on an active construction front.
• Clear reporting, both verbal in the field and written in daily reports.
• Willing to be based at site in South Sulawesi on a roster arrangement, under a project based contract.

An advantage:

experience on tailings storage facility, dam, or large embankment works, exposure to geosynthetic liner installation (GCL and HDPE geomembrane), and construction QA and QC documentation.
