Job summary

PT Masmindo Dwi Area is seeking a Civil Works Supervisor to oversee daily civil activities at the Awak Mas Gold Project tailings storage facility in South Sulawesi. You will lead Foremen and crews, ensure conformity with drawings and method statements, and maintain progress against the plan on a roster-based contract.

Top candidates will have a Civil Engineering degree, 3+ years supervising civil/mining works, and strong safety and reporting discipline.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent field experience
• Minimum 3 years as a Supervisor in construction, civil works, earthworks, or mining infrastructure
• Solid grasp of construction drawings, method statements, levels and setting out, and quantity tracking
• Working knowledge of earthworks compaction control, including moisture conditioning and density testing
• Ability to lead crew and Foremen, and to hold contractors to plan and quality
• Strong safety discipline on an active construction front
• Clear reporting, both verbal in the field and written in daily reports
• Willing to be based at site in South Sulawesi on a roster arrangement, under a project based contract
• An advantage: experience on tailings storage facility, dam, or large embankment works, exposure to geosynthetic liner installation (GCL and HDPE geomembrane), and construction QA and QC documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil works at the TSF: earthworks, embankment fill placement, moisture conditioning, and compaction, in line with drawings and method statements
• Direct Foremen, crew, and equipment at the work front, and keep the work plan running shift by shift
• Prepare the subgrade and bedding works ahead of geosynthetic liner installation, and protect completed surfaces from damage
• Oversee reinforcement and formwork for concrete structures within the TSF scope
• Monitor quantity, productivity, and progress against schedule, and raise shortfalls early
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Control, QA and QC, HSE, and contractors on the work front
• Identify field constraints and follow them through to resolution
• Prepare daily progress and site reports

Job description

This is civil works supervision at the front line of the Tailing Storage Facility construction team for the Awak Mas Gold Project. You will supervise daily civil works including embankment fill, subgrade preparation for liner, concrete structures, and keep crew, equipment, and progress moving against the schedule.
(Placement : Luwu, South Sulawesi)

Key Responsibilities:
