Job summary

Amartha is hiring an early-career Strategy Analyst to support a high-performing Strategy team that works directly with the CEO. You will handle a wide range of topics—from long-term corporate strategy to market research—providing the research, data, and analytical foundation for strategic decisions.

This role is designed for someone sharp, structured, and hungry to grow quickly, with exposure to consequential decisions from day one across lending, fintech, and payments in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree from a reputable Indonesian university (UI, ITB, UGM, UNPAD, Prasmul, BINUS or equivalent).
• Economics, Management, Engineering, or quantitative disciplines preferred; strong academic record expected
• 2 to 4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or a structured analytical role
• Strong quantitative skills -- Excel proficiency, financial modeling basics, and comfort with data analysis
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate findings clearly in both written and slide format
• Exposure to or genuine interest in financial services, fintech, or lending businesses
• Fast learner who takes feedback well, improves quickly, and takes initiative without being asked
• Ambition to grow into a Senior Strategy Manager role over time

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive benchmarking across a wide variety of strategic topics
• Build and maintain data models, financial trackers, and analytical frameworks that support ongoing strategy work
• Develop a working understanding of Amartha's P&L, business model, and financial drivers to support investment and performance analyses
• Produce first-draft slides, data summaries, and written sections for review by the Senior Strategy Manager and VP Strategy
• Turn raw data and research into clean, insight-ready charts, tables, and executive-friendly visualizations
• Support preparation for high-stakes meetings with C-suite and senior stakeholders across the organization
• Respond to ad hoc requests from VP Strategy with fast, accurate, and well-structured outputs
