Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Sales Engineer to maintain and develop relationships with key customers and trade organizations, understand purchase agreements, and coordinate with internal and channel partners. The role involves understanding Flowserve operations to enhance selling effectiveness and to support solution selling.

Responsibilities include driving bookings, presenting to clients, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience in sales of rotating equipment preferred (pumps, seals).
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiations and business finance familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings levels to meet or exceed assigned bookings goal.
• Maintain regular communication with key customers and trade organizations.
• Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
• Serve as primary contact for customer dealings including proposals, deliveries, repairs, and warranty claims.
• Educate customers on product features using marketing materials.
• Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate understanding of rotating pumps, mechanical seals and related equipment.
• Lead meetings and presentations; strong business writing skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools; maintain organized records and reports.
• Discuss ROI and financials to support solution selling.
