Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Sales Engineer in Jakarta to maintain and develop relationships with key customers and trade organizations. You will understand and solidify purchase agreements, coordinate with internal teams, and stay ahead of market trends.

Role requires 5–7 years in sales for rotating equipment, familiarity with API standards, and strong communications. You will travel to customer sites as needed and contribute to strategic marketing and ordering activities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a relevant field with 5–7 years of experience.
• Proven ability to meet/exceed bookings goals and grow key accounts.
• Strong knowledge of rotating pumps and mechanical seals.
• Experience in oil & gas, power, paper and chemical industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong proposal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings levels to meet or exceed goals.
• Maintain regular contact with key customers in the region.
• Develop marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
• Serve as primary contact for business dealings, including proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering, service and manufacturing to meet customer needs.
