Job summary

Roche is seeking an Area Sales Manager for our Commercial Public business in Central Java. You will drive revenue growth, lead a local sales team, and navigate government tenders while upholding Roche's compliance standards.

You will manage key institutional accounts, coordinate with distributors, and develop a business plan to expand market share in the public sector. Travel frequently across the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of commercial healthcare experience, with 2+ years in sales leadership preferred.
• Proven success in public sector or institutional sales and complex tender wins.
• Strong data analytics, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and manage key institutional accounts in the public sector, including government tender processes.
• Lead, coach, and support a local Account Executives team to meet KPIs and grow professionally.
• Coordinate with authorized third-party distributors for logistics and delivery.
• Develop and execute an annual area business plan to expand market share in public accounts.
• Monitor competitor pricing, policy changes, and healthcare funding shifts to anticipate market needs.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and revenue forecasts using company tools.
