Job summary

PT East Java Development seeks a senior strategist to lead EJMT Forward delivery, turning long-term strategy into executable projects with clear owners and measurable results. You will manage the strategy-execution process and ensure cross-functional alignment across finance, operations, IT, and other functions.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in business strategy, project delivery, and FP&A, with strong analytical and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in business strategy, project delivery, or FP&A.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and preparing executive dashboards.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Convert EJMT Forward priorities into project charters, implementation plans, milestones, KPIs, budgets and accountable owners.
• Maintain the integrated EJMT Forward roadmap and monitor project progress, dependencies, risks and resource requirements.
• Coordinate delivery across Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Finance, HSSE, IT, HR and other functions.
• Work with Finance and project owners to develop business cases, validate financial assumptions and track realized benefits.
• Identify delivery slippage early, facilitate recovery plans and escalate critical risks or unresolved decisions to the CFO, CEO and Management Committee.
• Prepare concise management dashboards and monthly progress reports highlighting performance, benefits, risks and decisions required.
• Facilitate regular project reviews and ensure agreed actions are completed on time.
• Support the periodic review of EJMT Forward and integrate approved priorities into the annual business plan, budget and capital program.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons for future projects.

About you

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Management or a related discipline.

At least five years of relevant experience in business strategy, project delivery, business planning, transformation, FP&A or operational improvement.

Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional projects and preparing business cases, dashboards and executive reports.

Strong analytical, financial modelling, project-management and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability without direct authority.

Strong written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Experience in ports, logistics, infrastructure or industrial operations is preferred.
