Job summary

Kanara is seeking a Procurement Assistant Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for packaging materials and raw materials across its brands. You will strategize sourcing, manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure on-time materials aligned with production needs.

The role requires 4–6 years in procurement, strong Excel and ERP experience (preferably Odoo), and a track record in cost optimization within an FMCG or related industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field.
• 4–6 years in procurement, sourcing, or related roles.
• Experience with raw materials and packaging procurement.
• Experience in FMCG or consumer goods preferred.
• Strong end-to-end procurement process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for raw materials and packaging.
• Develop strategies for material availability, cost, quality, and continuity.
• Review requirements, forecasts, specs, and timelines.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with R&D, QA, and production for launches.
