Job summary

PT PHC Indonesia in Bekasi is seeking a Procurement Engineer to manage engineering material procurement, review specs, and coordinate with engineering, QA, production, and procurement teams to ensure on-time delivery.

You will source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and support cost reduction and new product development, requiring 3–5 years in engineering procurement and strong BOM and drawing literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in engineering procurement, technical purchasing, sourcing, or supplier development.
• Strong understanding of drawings, BOM, specs, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and development.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Good English communication; Japanese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of engineering materials, components, and technical equipment.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOM to ensure procurement accuracy.
• Source, evaluate, and develop qualified suppliers.
• Negotiate price, quality, delivery, and technical requirements with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality and delivery issues.
• Support cost reduction, alternative sourcing, and new product development.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA, Production, and Procurement teams.
