Job summary

PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Spot Buy Analyst to strengthen its procurement function in Indonesia’s oil and gas or petrochemical sectors. You will manage contracting, tender evaluations, and supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and HSSE standards.

In this role, you’ll lead negotiations, drive cost-effective purchases, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert recurring spot buys into strategic contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering majors or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, contracting and procurement.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation, tender evaluation, supplier relationship management and contract management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to act with urgency, accountability and manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English both written and speaking and able to communicate in business language.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Apply best practices in contract and procurement while ensuring HSSE, ethics, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
• Identify needs, qualify suppliers, request proposals, negotiate, contract, and analyze results with cross-functional teams.
• Perform financial and commercial analysis of bids aligning with specs and budgets.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Conduct procurement support functions including vendor data administration and invoice processing.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to shift spot buys into strategic sourcing.
• Maintain supplier base compliance and resolve delivery/quality issues.
