Job summary

PT SMART Tbk (SMART) is seeking a qualified professional for Indirect Procurement/Sourcing within its Indonesian operations. The role focuses on developing and implementing sourcing strategies, RFQ processes, and procurement analytics to support budgeting and negotiation.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in indirect procurement and strong analytical thinking to assess internal and external market factors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in Indirect Procurement/Purchasing, handling HSE and services.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to assess internal spend and external market dynamics.
• Ability to proactively understand the operating environment of the Business Unit and implement procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and analyze internal spend and customer requirements and external market dynamics.
• Assist in developing RFQs, confirm supplier participation, and consolidate RFQ responses.
• Input supplier technical responses into qualitative assessment models and verify scoring completeness.
• Support Tender Committee during negotiation by consolidating quotations and informing results.
• Generate and submit contract drafts to relevant Category Managers.
• Research market prices for new requirements to support procurement budgeting.
• Produce ad-hoc procurement insights from secondary sources to support planning and execution.
