Job summary

Meratus Group, Indonesia's leading maritime and logistics company, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Jakarta team. You will partner with business leaders to align people strategies with objectives, acting as a trusted adviser on organisational development, talent management, and workforce planning.

You will lead HR initiatives across employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and change management, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labour

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of HR experience in BP/Generalist roles.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and HR practices.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management and organizational development.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand priorities and develop HR solutions.
• Provide strategic and operational HR support across ER, PM, talent development, and org effectiveness.
• Coach managers on people management and engagement.
• Lead the performance management cycle, goal setting, reviews, succession and development planning.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning and hiring strategies.
• Identify learning needs and coordinate capability-building initiatives.
• Analyze HR metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor regulations and internal policies.
• Support organizational change initiatives and positive employee experience.
• Stay updated on HR trends and employment legislation.
