AVLI Modern Greek Uluwatu in Bali seeks an experienced Head of Purchasing to manage procurement for our restaurant, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Strong network of local and international suppliers for food and beverage products.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local import/export regulations and customs is a plus.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement software.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
• Ensure timely procurement of food, beverages, kitchen equipment, and restaurant supplies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and reliability.
• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers as needed.
• Oversee stock levels, storage conditions, and inventory turnover.
• Implement cost control measures and reduce waste without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to forecast needs and plan orders effectively.
• Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records, including contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Conduct regular audits of purchasing processes.
• Lead and mentor the purchasing team.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary, operations, and finance teams to support smooth restaurant operations.
