Orica Indonesia is seeking a Lead - Business Development to drive sustainable growth in the local unit within Asia. You will identify strategic opportunities, deepen customer relationships, and shape market-driven commercial strategies from opportunity identification through contract award and transition to delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in BD or related roles in Indonesia, strong commercial and financial acumen, fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business development, commercial, key account or growth roles in Indonesia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present to executives.
• Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with ability to travel within Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the Indonesia business development strategy aligned with regional growth priorities and commercial objectives.
• Develop, qualify, and actively manage a robust opportunity pipeline, with accurate forecasting and progression of opportunities.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities through market analysis, strategic partnerships and customer engagement.
• Retain and grow existing customer accounts by strengthening relationships and renewing contracts.
