Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Mining Project Manager to oversee end-to-end execution of greenfield mining projects in Indonesia. You will lead site development, production readiness, and contractor coordination, ensuring safety and timely delivery within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering, 8–10 years in mining with 3–5 years in leadership, and POP/POM certification. Strong budgeting, leadership, and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8–10 years of mining operations experience with 3–5 years in managerial roles.
• POP or POM mining certification is mandatory.
• Experience with greenfield mining projects and contractor-based operations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of greenfield mining projects including infrastructure and pit development.
• Manage day-to-day mining operations, scheduling, fleet utilization, and manpower coordination.
• Develop fleet matching strategies and operational budgeting to maximize productivity and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineering, pit services, logistics, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Monitor performance, milestones, and production progress ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, mining regulations, and internal procedures.
• Prepare operational and financial reports on production, budgeting, and site productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and contractor management.
