Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia in Konawe, Sulawesi Tenggara, seeks a Mining Project Manager to oversee end-to-end greenfield mining project execution, including infrastructure development, production readiness, and contractor coordination.

You will lead planning, fleet optimization, and budgeting, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery, working with operational teams and senior management. 8–10 years in mining with leadership experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering.
• POM or POP mining certification required.
• 8–10 years of mining ops experience, 3–5 years in leadership.
• Experience managing large-scale contractor-based mining operations.
• Greenfield project experience from land development to production readiness.
• Experience with nickel, copper, gold, or similar minerals preferred.
• Strong planning, budgeting, and cost-control capabilities.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of greenfield mining projects including hauling roads, jetty development, pit opening, and supporting site infrastructure.
• Manage day-to-day mining operations including production scheduling, pit development, fleet utilisation, and manpower coordination.
• Develop and optimise fleet matching strategies, equipment ratios, and budgeting to maximise site productivity and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with contractors, engineering teams, pit services, logistics providers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor operational performance, milestones, and production progress while ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
• Ensure all mining activities comply with HSE standards, mining regulations, and internal procedures.
• Prepare operational and financial reports related to production performance, budgeting, project progress, and site productivity.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to operational efficiency and contractor management.
