Knowledge of freight procurement and vendor management.

Responsibilities

Source and negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, transporters and vendors management.
Manage procurement contracts and vendor performance.
Maintain rate database and cost benchmarking.
Support pricing and tender submissions.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Evaluate suppliers and conduct periodic reviews.
Monitor market rates and capacity trends.
Achieve cost savings and service improvements.
