Job summary

Accor Makassar Grand Shayla is seeking a Cost Controller to develop and monitor cost control systems across hotel operations, ensuring accurate budgeting and cost savings. You will analyze financial data, supervise inventory counts, prepare statements, and partner with department heads to drive efficiency while maintaining compliance with policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in cost control and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excel proficiency and MS Office.
• Experience with hotel financial systems (Futurelog, Opera).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control systems to monitor expenses.
• Analyze financial data and prepare cost reports for management.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock levels.
• Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with department heads to manage departmental budgets.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and local regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Participate in forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for projects.
• Provide training on cost control procedures.
