Job summary

SMN Group is seeking an experienced collections professional to develop strategies, manage accounts receivable, and drive timely payments. You will lead negotiations, monitor aging, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to improve cash flow and reduce risk.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in finance operations and billing processes. This position is based in Indonesia, offering a dynamic, collaborative environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Collection, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Revenue Assurance, Billing, or Finance Operations.
• Experience in ISP, telecommunications, connectivity, or technology industries preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• AR aging analysis and O2C process knowledge.
• MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement collection strategies for overdue invoices.
• Lead customer negotiations on payment commitments and settlement plans.
• Monitor billing readiness, unbilled balances, and revenue conversion.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and payment delays.
• Prepare collection performance reports, AR aging, forecasts, and management dashboards.
• Analyze collection trends and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate withholding tax receipt collection with the Tax team.
• Escalate critical collection issues and support legal processes when required.
• Ensure compliance with collection procedures, internal controls, and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve collection effectiveness and operational efficiency.
