Job summary

Tripatra is seeking a Category Specialist to develop and implement category sourcing strategies, optimize costs, and enhance supplier performance for EPC/construction projects in Indonesia. You will manage supplier relationships, drive spend analysis, and lead negotiations to secure long-term agreements.

The role requires a strong SCM background, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments while promoting process

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering required.
• 6–10 years of SCM/Category Management experience in EPC or construction projects.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and spend analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Effective in communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Pro-active, detail oriented, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spend analysis to identify optimization levers and cost saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement category-specific sourcing strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships including performance review and risk mitigation.
• Lead in negotiations and develop long-term agreements.
• Support and conduct tender from bidder list preparation, sourcing execution in collaboration with end user.
• Ensure technical and commercial during RFQ/P until award processes.
• Promote process improvement and knowledge sharing within Category Management.
