Job summary

PT. BUMIBARU INDONESIA JAYA seeks a Business Development professional focused on Agronomy & Offtake Partnerships to drive project feasibility and partnerships.

You will gather due diligence data, develop feasibility studies, and map communities while securing offtakers for core crops, emphasizing commercial viability and stakeholder engagement across Indonesia.

Ideal candidates have a minimum 5 years in agribusiness development with a strong network in commodity trading.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Forestry, or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in Agribusiness development or related fields.
• Experience in feasibility/analysis, commodity trading, or strategic partnerships.
• Deep knowledge of coffee, cocoa, woodchip, bananas or core crops.
• Active network to identify and secure offtakers.
• Skilled in drafting Feasibility Studies, budgets, and due diligence.
• Strong communication and community-relations management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, process, and analyze due diligence data on technical, operational, and land potential aspects.
• Develop comprehensive Feasibility Studies and analyze commodity dynamics to assess commercial potential.
• Prepare project budgets and analyze profitability projections for efficiency and financial health.
• Synthesize technical, commodity, and financial studies into structured project proposals for management review and approval.
• Identify and secure trusted plantation operators and committed offtakers for cocoa, coffee, bananas, and other core crops.
• Map and manage community relations and social dynamics around project sites to support empowerment programs.
