Job summary

PT Karya Putra Sangkuriang is seeking a Process Engineer to analyse production processes, identify bottlenecks, and design improved flows that boost productivity and cut costs.

You’ll collaborate with production, QA, and maintenance; conduct feasibility studies; prepare technical docs; implement changes; train staff; and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in process engineering and a related degree, with lean and modelling software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of process engineering or process improvement experience.
• Strong knowledge of process design, optimisation and lean manufacturing.
• Proficiency with process modelling and simulation software.
• Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma or Kaizen).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication.
• English and Indonesian language skills desirable.

• Designing and developing new process flows and procedures that optimise productivity and reduce costs
• Conducting feasibility studies and preparing detailed technical documentation for process modifications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and maintenance departments
• Implementing process changes and monitoring performance metrics to ensure targets are met
• Troubleshooting process-related issues and providing technical support to operational staff
• Developing and maintaining process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions
• Conducting training sessions for staff on new processes and best practices
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all process activities
• Preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in process engineering or process improvement roles
• Strong knowledge of process design, optimisation, and lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency with process modelling and simulation software
• Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Six Sigma or Kaizen)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulatory requirements in manufacturing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
• Fluency in English and Indonesian is highly desirable
• Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is preferred
