Job summary

PT Flextronics Technology Indonesia in Batam, Indonesia is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers and technicians, driving SPC, process improvements, and robust documentation in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

You will oversee projects to meet product specs, delivery timelines, and cost targets, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design manufacturable products and deliver continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain SPC systems.
• Improve process capabilities and throughput in assigned areas.
• Develop and maintain process documentation for manufacturing.
• Manage development projects to meet customer specifications, delivery, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design manufacturable products.
• Drive cost reductions and optimize processes across constrained areas.
• Partner with team to implement new materials and processes for performance gains and cost saving.
• Coordinate initiatives to enhance throughput and performance.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain qualified staff.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add aProcess Engineering Managerlocated inBatam, Indonesia.

Responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
• Establish and improve process capabilities.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
• Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Improve throughput in constrained areas.
• Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
• Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
• Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training. A Master's or MBA degree is preferred.

Typically requires 7 years of engineering experience including supervision.
