Job summary

PT Mutu Gading Tekstil, a world class producer of polyester filament yarn in Indonesia, is seeking a local procurement specialist to source, negotiate, and purchase materials from local suppliers ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.

The role focuses on supplier management, contract negotiation, and coordination with logistics to track shipments and timely delivery. A Bachelor’s degree in any major, 3 years of procurement experience, and strong ERP/MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any major (S1) is required.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office; inventory management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Local procurement: source, negotiate, and purchase materials from local suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
• Supplier management: evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with local suppliers.
• Logistics & tracking: coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics teams to track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Cost optimization: analyze market trends to reduce procurement costs and improve budget efficiency.
