Job summary

This is a purchasing and procurement role focused on researching and identifying potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities and negotiating competitive pricing. You will issue purchase orders, track deliveries and resolve supply chain issues while maintaining detailed records of all purchases, inventory levels and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities and negotiate competitive pricing

• Maintain detailed records of all purchases, inventory levels and supplier performance
• Collaborate with production, logistics and finance teams to optimise inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and implement cost-saving measures
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements related to purchasing

About you

• Minimum 1-3 years experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or textile industry
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive supplier relationships
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in using ERP systems and MS Office applications
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Able to drive both manual and automatic cars and holds a driver's license
