Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to lead safety culture, ensure quality production, and drive output on the line in a safe, clean manufacturing environment. You will organize teams, enforce safety and hygiene practices, and coordinate with Production Manager, Maintenance, and unions to meet objectives.

• Bachelor (S-1) in Food Technology or Technical/Engineering.
• 2-5 years in a functional role in the food industry with experience in managing and engaging/motivating people.
• Ability to positively confront and deal with non-compliance.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Culture and create a Safe Working Environment; check and enforce hygiene & safety procedures.
• Ensure Semi Finish and Finished Goods are manufactured to quality standards and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain clean and properly maintained working areas and installations per NGMP.
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and standard routines for sustainable results.
• Organize and delegate assignments to team members; evaluate work performance.
• Maintain dialogue with stakeholders on the line (Shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, unions).

+ Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
+ Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
+ Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
+ Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
+ Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
+ Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line)
What will make you successful
+ Bachelor (S-1) Majoring Food Technology or Technical/Engineering
+ 2-5 year experience in a functional role in Food industry - Having Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people
