Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager at the Karawang Factory. You will be responsible for delivering line objectives, empowering teams, and ensuring production plans are met on time while complying with safety, quality, cost, and environmental standards.

You will lead safety culture, maintain NGMP compliance, and collaborate with line teams, Production Manager, and maintenance to drive manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (S-1) in Food Technology or Technical/Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in a functional role in the Food industry.
• Ability to positively address non-compliance and safety issues.
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through housekeeping and safety practices.
• Ability to manage and deploy staff effectively and set clear objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Culture and ensure a Safe Working Environment.
• Ensure Semi Finish and Finished Goods are manufactured to quality standards and instructions.
• Maintain NGMP-compliant workplaces and installations.
• Manage Production via operational reviews and standard routines for sustainable results.
• Organize and delegate tasks, assess team performance and engage stakeholders on the line.

• + Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
• + Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• + Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• + Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• + Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• + Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line).
