Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the chemical industry.
• Diploma or equivalent in a related field.
• Knowledgeable about general chemicals such as Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Hydrosulphite, Soda Ash, Sodium Nitrite, Caustic Soda Flakes, Sodium Sulphide Flakes, Sodium Metabisulphite or other industrial chemicals.
• Must have a database of existing customers and potential customers.
• Willing to travel to other provinces/cities to meet customers.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and sales targets.
• Creative and innovative in acquiring new customers.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, assertive and self-controlled.

Responsibilities

• Market product functions and highlight how they solve customer problems.
• Willing to answer queries from customers about products.
• Maintain a contact list and follow up with customers to maintain cordial relationships.
