CAKAP, an edutech company based in Jakarta, seeks a Sr. Business Development to drive revenue by leading sales initiatives, expanding client relationships, and aligning targets with company goals.

You will manage pipelines, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to deliver value and growth across the business development function.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in business development with proven track records (B2B or B2G).
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Experience in edutech company, Jakarta-based startups, with a strong business network.
• Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• Interest in creating social impact through Indonesian education.
• Self-motivated and resilient in a challenging role.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve and exceed sales targets by managing pipelines, converting leads, and closing deals.

• Implement and own OKRs/targets to align with revenue goals.

• Report on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline health to management regularly.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs.

We are currently looking for a Sr. Business Development. In this role, you will drive the achievement of business objectives by leading sales initiatives, expanding client relationships, and ensuring revenue growth across the company’s business development and sales functions. Take a look at some of the key responsibilities for this role:

Achieve and exceed sales targets by managing pipelines, converting leads, and closing deals.

Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach.

Strengthen client relationships by maintaining regular communication, understanding client needs, and providing solutions that deliver value.

Monitor market trends and competitors to ensure the company remains competitive and agile.

Implement and own OKRs/targets to align with company revenue goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to support business growth and client success.

Report on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline health to management regularly.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by business needs.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent.

At least 3 years of working experience in business development with proven track records (experienced in B2B or B2G is a must).

Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Experience in edutech company, especially Jakarta-based startups. A good business network.

Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.

Interest in creating social impact through Indonesias education.

A good and effective communicator.

Self-motivated, internally motivated to excel in the role.

CAKAP offers a solution for everyone who wants to speak other languages and learn more about different cultures. We reinvent language learning experience by providing an online platform for students and teachers; the idea is for you to study anywhere and everywhere.
