Job summary

CAKAP, an edutech company formerly known as Squline and based in Jakarta, is seeking a Business Development Senior Associate to drive sales and expand client relationships from our Tangerang base. You will lead initiatives, manage pipelines, and collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to deliver value.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Business/Admin or Marketing, 1+ year in EduTech, and strong e-commerce knowledge. High energy, proactive learning, and startup agility are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
• 1+ year total work experience; Education Technology experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms.
• Strong communication, negotiating, and analytical skills.
• Strong relationship-building and proactive learning attitude.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets by managing pipelines, converting leads, and closing deals.

Business Development Senior Associate

What you will do

We are currently looking for a BD Senior Associate. In this role, you will drive the achievement of business objectives by leading sales initiatives, expanding client relationships, and ensuring revenue growth across the company’s business development and sales functions.

• Achieve and exceed sales targets by managing pipelines, converting leads, and closing deals.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach.
• Strengthen client relationships by maintaining regular communication, understanding client needs, and providing solutions that deliver value.
• Monitor market trends and competitors to ensure the company remains competitive and agile.
• Implement and own OKRs/targets to align with company revenue goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to support business growth and client success.
• Report on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline health to management regularly.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by business needs.

Requirements :

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus
• Working experience in total with minimum 1 years in Education Technology
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms
• Good communication, negotiating, and analyzing skills
• Strong relationship building skills to engage and influence
