Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Jakarta to drive cost-effective procurement for maritime services and to build strong partnerships with key contractors and suppliers.

You will ensure compliance with QSHE, TMSA, OCIMF, IMO resolutions, and ISO frameworks while supporting Integrated Management System efforts and risk controls across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering preferred.
• 0-6 months of relevant experience.
• Demonstrates knowledge in vendor management and negotiation.
• Fluent in English and proficient in computer operations.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

1. Drive cost-effective procurement strategies for maritime services while optimizing expenditure.

2. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key contractors and suppliers.

3. Ensure strict adherence to internal company procedures, QSHE standards, TMSA guidelines, OCIMF requirements, IMO resolutions, and ISO frameworks.

General Responsibilities

1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.

2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.

3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.

4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in any major (Engineering background in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering preferred).

2. 0-6 months of relevant experience.
