Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Licensed in massage therapy and cosmetology or aesthetics.
• Experience as a spa therapist preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and on weekends.
• Demonstrate sales abilities.
• Indonesian citizen only.

Responsibilities

• Perform massages and beauty treatments such as manicures, pedicures, waxing, and facials.
• Maintain detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies for each guest.
• Communicate with guests during massages to adjust techniques as required.
• Resolve guest complaints and report incidents to the Manager.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and sterilize instruments before use.
• Explain massages, treatments, and therapies and provide recommendations.
• Ensure spa is stocked with supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Inquire about guests' medical conditions and allergies before services.

Job description

As a Spa Therapist you will report directly to Front Office Manager. You will be a dedicated and experienced spa therapist to perform massages and beauty treatments depending on guests' needs and preferences. The spa therapist's responsibilities include greeting and welcoming spa guests, informing guests of spa packages, promotions, and rates, and customizing treatments and therapies to suit guests’ needs. You should also be able to recommend additional spa services and up-sell spa products.

To be successful in this job position, you should be maintaining a comfortable environment for the clients to feel better. You should have in-depth knowledge of various equipment and techniques used during the treatments. In addition to this, you should be managing and maintaining all the hygiene standards of the spa.

• Performing different types of massages and beauty such as manicures and pedicures, waxing technique and facial treatments
• Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.
• Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
• Resolving guest complaints and reporting any accidents to the Manager
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.
• Explaining massages, treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.
• Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
• Enquiring about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.
