Job summary

CAI is seeking an Area Manager to lead Mission Critical activities across Southeast Asia. You will report to the APAC Regional Director, blending business development, client relations, project leadership, commissioning oversight, and commercial management to expand CAI’s presence in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field.
• Significant experience in mission-critical environments (data centers, pharma/life sciences, or similar).
• Proven experience managing projects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams in the SE Asia/APAC region.
• Strong knowledge of project financial management including budgets, forecasting, cost control, and change management.
• Knowledge of design review, construction coordination, equipment/vendor submittals, scheduling, commissioning, and closeout.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with clients and executives.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for CAI Mission Critical across Southeast Asia.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with APAC Directors to develop and execute regional growth strategies.
• Prepare and coordinate RFP responses, proposals, and commercial estimates.
• Monitor market conditions, client requirements, and competitive activity in the region.
• Provide leadership and oversight for active and future projects across the region.
• Manage project budgets with forecasting, cost control, and change orders.
• Coordinate commissioning activities to achieve safe, timely handover.
• Engage with customers to ensure expectations and schedules are met.
• Capture lessons learned to improve future projects.
• Participate in recruitment and development of regional personnel.
