Job summary

Hexagon Mining Balikpapan, Indonesia, seeks a Software Support Engineer to join the APAC Technical Service & Support team. You will provide remote technical assistance with quarterly site visits across the Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities include supporting software deployed at remote mining sites, troubleshooting issues, and documenting processes while collaborating with Product Development and Account Managers. Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• 3+ years scripting experience (bash, perl, python).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues at remote mining sites.
• Maintain and document support activities and provide on-call coverage.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Account Managers on customer accounts.
