Job summary

Hexagon Mining in Balikpapan, Indonesia, is seeking a production/dispatch FMS consultant to support deployment, optimisation, and value realisation of Hexagon’s Op Pro fleet management system across mining operations.

You will join a global team and act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, contributing to solution design, implementation activities and ongoing operational optimisation. The role is on-site in Balikpapan with a 2 weeks on/4 days off roster possible.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Mining Production, ideally in deployment/operation of FMS or production systems.
• Strong understanding of mine operations workflows including dispatch, haulage, drilling and blasting interfaces, and production reporting.
• Experience working with fleet management or OT systems (dispatch systems, operations control platforms, or mine optimisation tools).
• Ability to engage with operational and technical stakeholders in mining environments, including site-based and corporate teams.
• Prior experience in a multi-divisional structure, supporting multiple projects.
• Fluent in Bahasa and English.

• Analyse operational processes and performance data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement using Op Pro functionality and industry best practice.

The Position:

Reporting to the Training & Consulting Team lead, we are recruiting a consultant to join our Customer Services team in Indonesia. As a consultant your role will be to act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, supporting solution design, implementation activities, and ongoing operational optimisation across complex mining environments.

This role is based in Balikpapan and requires Monday to Friday 8-5pm location-if on site it may require the following roster pattern 2 weeks on 4 days off. Application form outside Balikpapan will need to relocate at their own discretion.

This opportunity will see you represent - OP Pro. Op Pro is responsible for supporting the successful deployment, optimisation, and value realisation of Hexagon’s Op Pro fleet management system within customer mining operations. You will join a global team working collaboratively on varied work scopes, where your focus will be to partner and collaborate with our customers to reach innovative and personalised solutions for our clients operational or global demands.

In addition but not limited to the following responsibilities.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Production/Dispatch FMS Engineer or Supervisor/Superintendents ready to take their operational mining knowledge into a global leader in OT technology , supporting a wide range of clients with their FMS utilisation and adoption requirements.

In addition, we are seeking those with the following skills or attributes.

• Prior experience in Mining Production, ideally in the deployment and operation of FMS or production systems
• Strong understanding of mine operations workflows including dispatch, haulage, drilling and blasting interfaces, and production reporting.
• Experience working with fleet management or operational technology systems (e.g., dispatch systems, operational control platforms, or mine optimisation tools).
• Ability to engage with operational and technical stakeholders in mining environments, including site-based teams and corporate functions.
• Prior experience in a multi divisional structure, supporting multiple projects at once
• Fluent in both Bahasa and English, as we are global your will engage with customers across the globe.
