Job summary

AGIT (PT Astra Graphia Information Technology) is a Digital Service Provider in Indonesia. We are seeking a QA Tester to develop and execute test plans, perform manual testing, and collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality.

The role emphasizes defect tracking, usability input, and continuous QA process improvement. The candidate should have 1–2 years in QA, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with JIRA/TestRail; automation awareness is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance with manual testing.
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Good written and verbal communication to interact with team and end-users.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., K6, WDIO) is highly preferable.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail).

What are the Job Descriptions for this position? (Responsibilities)
1. Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.

2. Perform manual testing to identify, document, and track software defects.

3. Collaborate with the development team to understand features and technical implementations.

4. Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.

5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and standards within the team.

6. Provide input on usability, user experience, and design aspects from a testing perspective.

7. Log and track defects using a bug tracking system, ensuring comprehensive documentation and communication.

Qualifications

i. 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance, including hands‑on experience with manual testing.

ii. Good understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.

iii. Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.

iv. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and end‑users.

v. Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.

vi. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

vii. Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., K6, WDIO, etc.) is highly preferable.

viii. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
