Job summary

Folkatech is seeking a QA Tester (Manual) to perform manual testing on web and mobile applications and to create and execute test cases based on product specifications. You will document results, report bugs, and conduct regression testing after fixes, collaborating with developers and product owners to prioritize testing areas.

You'll contribute to improving testing processes and ensure product quality. English communication is required, and familiarity with SDLC/STLC is expected as you verify

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field from reputable university.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience as a QA Tester (Manual) for at least 6 months is a plus.

Job description

Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to ensure quality and functionality.

Create and execute test cases based on product specifications.

Requirement

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field from reputable university.

Fresh graduate from reputable university are welcome to apply.

Previous experience working as a QA Tester (Manual) at least 6 months is a plus (internship experience counts).

Able to use English in daily conversations is a must.

Willing to take responsibility for work or projects in the Financial (Banking) Services Industry.

Basic understanding of software testing methods, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

Strong analytical skills to comprehend product specifications and create testing scenarios.

Ability to write test cases and manage bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).

Basic knowledge of regression testing, functional testing, and UI/UX testing.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Attention to detail and the ability to spot issues that may go unnoticed.

Teamwork skills and willingness to learn new tools or technologies as needed.
