Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Monitoring & Observability concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems with fundamental commands.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and incident reports.
• Experience in opening and managing support tickets with principals/vendors is an advantage.
• Familiarity with VMware products or virtualization technology is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system metrics, logs, and traces to ensure system performance and availability.
• Respond to monitoring alerts per SLAs and escalate incidents to Level 2 when necessary.
• Maintain daily monitoring logs and operational records.
• Identify, document, and report detected issues through the ticketing system.
• Prepare incident reports and ensure proper documentation of monitoring activities.
• Perform virtualization provisioning activities.
• Participate in internal training and obtain basic certifications when provided by the company.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Monitoring & Virtualization Engineer (Junior) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring system performance, identifying potential issues, responding to alerts, and supporting virtualization provisioning activities to ensure system availability and operational reliability. This position is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience who are interested in developing their careers in IT Infrastructure, Monitoring, and Virtualization.

Key responsibilities

Monitor system metrics, logs, and traces to ensure system performance and availability.

Respond to monitoring alerts in accordance with established SLAs and elevate incidents to Level 2 (L2) when necessary.

Maintain daily monitoring logs and operational records.

Identify, document, and report detected issues through the standard ticketing system.

Prepare incident reports and ensure proper documentation of monitoring activities.

Perform virtualization provisioning activities.

Participate in internal training and obtain basic certifications when provided by the company.

About you

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Basic understanding of Monitoring & Observability concepts.

Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, including fundamental commands.
