FINNS Bali is seeking a proactive Software Engineer to build, optimize, and maintain digital systems powering operations and guest experiences at our Bali venue. You will collaborate with IT, ERP, and external providers to ensure seamless integration with new applications and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in software development, applications, or systems integration.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications, APIs, automation, utilities, and system extensions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Design and maintain integrations across ERP, POS, PMS, CRM, WMS, HRIS, payment, e-commerce, BI, and other systems using APIs, REST, SOAP, webhooks, databases, and file-based systems.
• Manage data mapping, transformation, validation, synchronization, and loading for data integrity.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and integrations; seek automation opportunities.
• Participate in full development and integration lifecycle from requirements to go-live support.
• Prepare technical specifications and documentation; support testing.
• Troubleshoot system, integration, performance, and data issues; implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and solution providers to deliver effective technical solutions.
• Follow best practices: version control, code review, testing, security, and architecture standards.

The role works closely with IT, ERP, business users, and external solution providers to ensure that existing systems can integrate effectively with new applications, platforms, and future technologies.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, consultants, and solution providers to deliver effective technical solutions.


• Follow development and integration best practices, including version control, code review, testing, security, documentation, and architecture standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, with 3–5+ years of experience in software development, application development, or systems integration.


• Proven experience delivering software development and systems integration projects, including hands-on integration of multiple business and enterprise applications.


• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or equivalent.


• Strong knowledge of APIs and integration technologies, including REST, SOAP, webhooks, JSON/XML, OAuth, API keys, CSV/SFTP, and middleware or integration platforms.


• Strong knowledge of databases and SQL, including relational databases and data modeling. Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent is preferred.


• Familiarity with SDLC, Git/version control, testing, debugging, CI/CD, development environments, and basic cloud technologies, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.


• Ability to understand business processes and data flows, translate requirements into practical technical solutions, and communicate effectively in English with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
