Job summary

The Island Sport Club is seeking a hands-on Social Media Assistant to support campaigns across Island Sports Cemagi, Island Sports Uluwatu and Signature Padel Denpasar in Bali. You will help execute calendars, publish daily content, and respond to the community to keep accounts active and on-brand.

You’ll collaborate with a small marketing team, including a Graphic Designer and Content Creator, to ensure timely promotions, events and daily updates across all locations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or assisting business social media accounts.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, including Stories, Reels, feed posts, DMs and tagging.
• Highly organised and comfortable following multiple content calendars.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure schedules are not missed.
• Comfortable posting and managing content daily.
• Good written English with clear, professional communication.
• Responsive handling of customer/community enquiries through Instagram.
• Able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable working with a marketing/creative team.
• Based in Bali.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Social Media with execution of social media strategy and calendars.
• Publish scheduled posts, reels and stories across all three accounts on time.
• Post daily Instagram Stories promoting offers, activities, events and court availability.
• Repost tagged stories and relevant community content.
• Schedule regular feed content, reels and Stories per the calendar.
• Monitor DMs, comments and enquiries; respond professionally and promptly.
• Direct enquiries to the appropriate team when needed.
• Keep content calendars accurate with current offers and events.
• Coordinate with Graphic Designer and Content Creator for assets ahead of posting.
• Check content for accuracy, tags, links and formatting before publishing.
• Identify user-generated content for potential reposts.
• Maintain organized content libraries per location.
• Assist with copywriting for captions, Stories and promos.
• Support live coverage during tournaments and events.
• Ensure accounts stay active, consistent and on-brand.

About the role

We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to support our Head of Social Media with the day-to-day management and execution of social media across Island Sports Cemagi, Island Sports Uluwatu and Signature Padel Denpasar.

This is a hands‑on role focused on making sure our social media calendars are executed consistently and on time, our Instagram accounts remain active every day, and our community receives quick and helpful responses.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Social Media, Graphic Designer, Content Creator and club teams to coordinate content, promotions, events and daily updates across all three locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Social Media with the execution of the social media strategy and content calendars
• Make sure scheduled posts, reels and stories are published correctly and on time across all three accounts
• Post daily Instagram Stories promoting current offers, activities, events, court availability and other club updates
• Regularly repost tagged Stories and relevant community content
• Post and schedule regular feed content, reels and Stories according to the approved content calendar
• Monitor Instagram DMs, comments and enquiries and respond in a timely, professional and friendly manner
• Direct enquiries to the appropriate team or contact when needed
• Keep up to date with current offers, events, tournaments, weekly activities and club information to ensure accurate communication
• Coordinate with the Graphic Designer and Content Creator to make sure required assets are ready ahead of scheduled posting dates
• Check all content before publishing for correct information, spelling, tags, locations, links and formatting
• Monitor tagged content and identify strong user-generated content that can be reposted
• Help maintain an organised content library for each location
• Assist with basic copywriting for captions, Stories and promotional content
• Support live social media coverage during selected tournaments, events and club activations
• Help ensure each account remains active, consistent and aligned with the Island Sports brand

Requirements

• Previous experience managing or assisting with business social media accounts
• Strong understanding of Instagram, including Stories, Reels, feed posts, DMs and tagging
• Highly organised and comfortable following multiple content calendars
• Strong attention to detail and ability to make sure nothing scheduled is missed
• Comfortable posting and managing content on a daily basis
• Good written English with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Responsive and confident handling customer and community enquiries through Instagram
• Able to manage multiple accounts and priorities at the same time
• Comfortable working closely with a wider marketing and creative team
• Based in Bali
