Job summary

Technip Energies in Batam, Indonesia is seeking a Site Planning Engineer to join our project control team. You will develop construction schedules, baseline plans, and reference progress curves, ensuring alignment with the overall project schedule.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least seven years in project control and planning, with strong skills in Excel, Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• At least seven years of experience in project control and planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data management.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and comply with client specifications for construction planning and progress reporting.
• Attend all project meetings.
• Prepare project-specific procedures and deliverables within own area of competence.
• Develop construction schedules and baseline plans, starting from the overall project schedule, and prepare reference progress curves, man-hour estimates, and manpower charts.
• Review and comment on construction schedules submitted by subcontractors during the bid stage, aligned with the approved overall project schedule.
• Develop, agree, and finalize with each project subcontractor the construction progress curves, man-hours, and reference productivities to be attached to the subcontract.
• Provide support to site planning staff for the assigned project as needed.

Main responsibilities

Qualification and experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Egineering disciplines.
• At least seven (7) years’ experience in the project control and planning.
• Proficient at using Microsoft Office especially Excel spreadsheets and data management.
• Proficient at using Primavera 6 and Microsoft project.
