PT. Transcoal Pacific, Tbk is seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to oversee and manage site operations, ensuring safe and efficient marine activities and compliance with company policies.
You will lead ship captains and crew, develop work plans, monitor shipping, enforce ISM Code, and deliver regular performance reports to improve safety, quality, and environmental standards at the site. This position will support coal and nickel transshipment operations, demanding strong leadership
This role involves overseeing and managing operational activities at the site, ensuring marine operations run according to established targets, and implementing safety and quality management systems.
Key responsibilities
Develop and ensure operational work plans for site activities are executed according to set targets
Monitor and evaluate shipping activities through company-designated systems
Increase capacity of subordinate personnel including all ship captains and crew
Take responsibility for implementing safety management for the entire tug & barge at site in accordance with ISM Code
Execute and apply Company policies
Ensure implementation of Safety and Quality Management Systems across site activities
Ensure all tug & barges are seaworthy, maintain safe ship operation and prevent marine pollution
Conduct management visits to all tug & barge.
Prepare and present operational reports and performance analysis of the operational department on a regular basis
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of work experience as Marine Superintendent or equivalent level
Experience in transshipment operational activities for coal and nickel
Good capability of leadership, communication skills as well as problem solving skill.
