Job summary

PT. Transcoal Pacific, Tbk is seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to oversee and manage site operations, ensuring safe and efficient marine activities and compliance with company policies.

You will lead ship captains and crew, develop work plans, monitor shipping, enforce ISM Code, and deliver regular performance reports to improve safety, quality, and environmental standards at the site. This position will support coal and nickel transshipment operations, demanding strong leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience as Marine Superintendent or equivalent.
• Experience in transshipment ops for coal and nickel.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure operational work plans for site activities.
• Monitor and evaluate shipping activities using company systems.
• Increase capacity of subordinate personnel including all ship captains and crew.
• Implement Safety Management System for tug & barge per ISM Code.
• Execute and apply Company policies.
• Ensure Safety and Quality Management Systems across site activities.
• Ensure tug & barges are seaworthy and prevent marine pollution.
• Prepare and present operational reports and performance analyses.
