Job summary

PT ENVIROMATE TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL invites a seasoned Engineering Coordinator to lead engineering activities for the Minahasa Gas Engine Power Plant project (150 MW) at the project site in North Sulawesi. Initial assignment from Jakarta Head Office to mobilize on site, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across Mechanical, Piping, Process, Civil & Structural, and Electrical & Instrumentation.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering degree, 12+ years in EPC/EPCC, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years of EPC/EPCC experience, preferably in power plant, oil & gas, energy or industrial construction.
• Minimum 3 years as Engineering Coordinator / Engineering Manager / Site Engineering Manager, or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams (Mechanical, Piping, Process, Civil & Structural, Electrical & Instrumentation).
• Experience in site engineering activities from early stages (topographic surveys, soil investigations) to construction and pre-commissioning.
• Ability to review drawings and documents, identify design discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
• Ability to coordinate with Project Management, Construction, Procurement, subcontractors, vendors and clients.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all engineering activities for the Minahasa 150 MW project, ensuring compliance with specs, standards and schedule.
• Manage and coordinate Lead Engineers across Mechanical, Piping, Process, Civil & Structural, and Electrical & Instrumentation disciplines.
• Coordinate engineering activities from site surveys and investigations through construction and pre-commissioning.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables (drawings, calculations, specs) are coordinated and reviewed.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables to support construction schedule.
• Review and resolve technical issues during project execution (design discrepancies, technical queries, design changes).
• Ensure designs align with site conditions and construction requirements.
• Provide technical direction and support to construction teams to follow approved drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with PM, Construction Manager, Head Office engineering, Procurement, subcontractors and vendors.
• Identify technical risks and interface issues and implement timely corrective actions.
• Note: PT. Enviromate Technology International designed CNG plants and implements energy-efficient technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Minimum 12 years of experience in EPC/EPCC projects, preferably in power plant, oil & gas, energy or industrial construction

Minimum 3 years of experience in an Engineering Coordinator, Engineering Manager, Site Engineering Manager or equivalent position, with proven experience in site engineering and construction execution

Proven experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams covering Mechanical, Piping, Process, Civil & Structural, and Electrical & Instrumentation

Experienced in handling engineering activities from the early project stage, including topographic surveys, soil investigations and benchmarking, through construction and pre-commissioning

Able to review engineering drawings and technical documents, identify design discrepancies and coordinate technical resolutions

Able to coordinate effectively with Project Management, Construction, Procurement, subcontractors, vendors and clients

Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills

Good command of written and spoken English is preferred

Must meet the company's medical fitness requirements and pass the Medical Check-Up (MCU) in accordance with company standards

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and oversee all engineering activities for the Minahasa Gas Engine Power Plant 150 MW project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, technical standards and schedule

Manage and coordinate Lead Engineers across Mechanical, Piping, Process, Civil & Structural, and Electrical & Instrumentation disciplines

Coordinate engineering activities from initial site surveys, soil investigations, benchmarking and site preparation through detailed engineering, construction and pre-commissioning

Ensure all engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, technical specifications and other engineering documents, are properly coordinated, reviewed and completed in accordance with project requirements

Monitor engineering progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables to support the overall construction schedule

Review and resolve technical issues during project execution, including design discrepancies, technical queries and design changes, in coordination with relevant teams

Ensure engineering designs and documents are aligned with actual site conditions and construction requirements

Provide technical direction and engineering support to the construction team to ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications

Coordinate engineering requirements and resolve technical interfaces with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Head Office engineering team, Procurement, subcontractors and vendors

Identify potential technical risks and engineering interface issues that may affect project progress, and ensure timely corrective actions

PT. Enviromate Technology International designed energy efficient Compressed Natural Gas Plant. We constructed CNG Plant with capacity of 15 MMSCFD and 18,9 MMSCFD.

PT. Enviromate Technology International use waste energy as source of heat which resulted a very low owned use power consumption.
